Powder Coating Care & Maintenance Guide

Powder coating is one of the most durable and weather-resistant finishes available. With the right care, it will keep its color and protection for years. Like any surface, though, it does require proper maintenance.

✅ Recommended Care

• Clean regularly with mild soap and water.
• Use pH-neutral cleaners when additional cleaning is needed.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove residue.
• Wipe dry with a soft microfiber cloth to prevent spotting.

❌ Avoid These Practices

• Strong solvents (gasoline, paint thinner, etc.)
• Acidic or alkaline cleaners
• Tar removers or heavy degreasers
• Abrasive pads, steel wool, or harsh brushes
• High-pressure washing directly at close range

• Improper cleaning methods or the use of harsh chemicals can cause fading, dulling, or surface damage.
• Our warranty covers issues related to the coating process itself.
